Kanye West has a new album coming out on December 16th and apparently the title has been leaked: 808′s & Heartbreak.

He performed the expected first single for the album, ”Love Lockdown,” live at the VMA’s, A couple of recordings of that performance have been floating around the internet as mp3′s but if you wanna listen to the actual studio recorded track, it’s been posted on Kanye’s blog.

Frick. I love Amy Winehouse and she is killing herself. If you look at photos of her like two years ago and photos of her now it is pretty shocking to see the change in her physical appearance that I am assuming is caused largely by her drug use. Back To Black was sick and so was her Zutons cover with Mark Ronson. She is a great singer. I really hope she doesn’t die.

It’s kind of an eerie song but I really like it. Kate Bush wrote the original version and Placebo put out this cover last year. I love it. I think the video is pretty cool.

Can’t say I’m actually too thrilled with the video. I guess I envisioned this all taking place on the floor of a club not at a new year’s house party.

I’ve been trying to figure out when she releases her full album: The Fame. According to Wikipedia the world release is August 19th and the U.S. release is October 9th. That’s the most credible source I could find.

Criteria For Good Music

If I like what I’m hearing that’s all that matters. I’m not really sure about this whole deciding what music is good and what music is bad idea. What is the value in that? The only thing I feel like determining is whether or not I enjoy hearing what I’m hearing and whether other people might enjoy it too. Doesn’t matter to me if it’s good. What matters to me is how much enjoyment you or I can get out of it.
